Table feel

Tasso has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth in confrontation. Players need to be aware of and react to others' strategies frequently. However, there is less emphasis on cooperation in the game.

Replay value

Tasso offers a high level of variability with its gameboard, allowing for different experiences each time it is played. The presence of expansions adds to the replay value, providing new content and gameplay elements. The game offers deep strategic possibilities and room for improvement over time. The player interaction score is average. Tasso scales well with different numbers of players without compromising its appeal or balance. While it may take some time to learn, the game offers a good balance between easiness and depth. Overall, Tasso has a strong replayability score of 7.85.

Luck profile

Tasso has a moderate level of luck involved in the game. Random elements have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. Players have some ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is influenced by a balanced mix of luck and strategy.

Overview

Tasso, also published as Lakota, is an abstract game in which each player starts the game with the same number of sticks. On a turn, a player lays one of their sticks on the game board or on sticks already present on the game board; whenever a player lays a stick on two sticks already laid, they immediately take another turn. Whoever first places all of their sticks on the game board wins!
