Ragnarök, final destiny of the gods, the great battle at the end of time between the Aesir and the Jötunn. From all corners of the nine realms, gods, giants, dwarves, and monsters will gather to fight the last war. An End of the World card game for two players taking about 20 minutes. You'll need - the deck of 54 Ragnarök cards, 9d6 and 5 eurocube markers per player One player will be the Aesir Norse Gods and will battle, in a series of realms, against the Jötunn Frost Giants played by the other player for the fate of the world. To win the game a player must win total 5 battles in the 9 Realms (These do not have to be consecutive wins). A battle takes place in each Realm. Each player will use Strength, Wisdom, and Cunning in their battle, vying to have the most powerful attack. A Strength card (Frost Giant of Norse God) is played first, followed by 2 cards from your hand (Wisdom) allowing you to roll a number of dice to add to your Strength. Lastly another card is played (Cunning) allowing modifications to the dice rolls. Strategy involves knowing the right card to play when because some cards will give you bonuses depending on the Realm they are played in. Game files include both a low ink grayscale and full color card set, rules and tuckbox artwork. An Artscow version is also available for order.
