In the game of Lakshadweep, two players build the exotic islands of Lakshadweep, tile by tile, populating it carefully with Houses, Fisheries, Hotels, Ports, Forests and Corals! Players take turns to pick tiles from a market display, and add one at a time to a shared, central map of Lakshadweep. A tile consists of island and water bodies, natural features (Corals, Forests) and man-made features (Houses, Hotels, Ports and Fisheries) of both player colors. Placing more forests as well as completing an island triggers bonuses, that enables players to pick bonus tokens and improve their scores! But there are only a limited number of them, and all of them are unique. Each feature has a unique way of accruing points based on their placement. The game ends when the last tile is placed and the player with the highest score wins the game! -description from designer
