The Fellowship of the Ring is a wargame centered on the action of the first book of the Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien—one player plays the Fellowship, deploying Heroes in an attempt to misdirect and deceive the other player, who plays Sauron with the evil Nazgûl and Balrog under their control. Takes many of the ideas from the character game of SPI’s War of the Ring and expands upon them.
