Ethnos: 2nd Edition

Ethnos: 2nd Edition rebuilds Paolo Mori's approachable area-control game in the animal realm of Ethnos. On each turn, recruit one face-up or hidden ally, or play a party whose cards share a color or animal type. The chosen leader supplies a special ability, the party's color determines where a control marker can be placed, and the party size decides whether it can strengthen your presence. Remaining cards are discarded back to the market, creating immediate opportunities for rivals. Three randomly revealed dragons end each age, when regions and growing party sets score prestige. Twelve asymmetric animal clans, alternate region boards, two-player adjustments, and solo and recruitment modes add variety without obscuring the crisp draw-or-deploy core.
