Table feel

Bladder has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth in confrontation. Players need to frequently pay attention to others' strategies and turns. However, there is less emphasis on cooperation in the game.

Replay value

Bladder has a high replayability score due to its high variability gameboard, strategic depth, and scalability. The presence of expansions and moderate easiness to learn also contribute to its replay value.

Luck profile

Bladder has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. Players have substantial ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is primarily determined by player strategy and decisions, with luck playing a minor role.

Overview

BLADDER combines elements of the 2 most popular pastimes ever, Chess and Football (i.e. REAL football, what Americans call soccer!), recreating the total mayhem of village games during the time of King James ...14 playing pieces per side. Bladder is very much a game of two halves. Positional maneuvering in the first half preceding the picking up of the bladder followed by the more fluid passing and elimination action of the second half.
