This is a trivia game based around travel. It has an interesting system in that you earn money for answering questions and then you pay that money to gain points in other areas that you feel weak in. The goal of the game is to master five of the nine "Travel Areas" (which correspond to nine different areas in the world). From box bottom - Travel Buff provides hours of great family entertainment and social interaction. Travel Buff provides intriguing elements of a fun-filled game by combining knowledge, luck, risk, money and strategy, all in one game. Individual players or teams amswer questions regarding famous travel destinations on several topics including food, sports, art, history, culture, geography, politics, and much more. Individuals or teams seek to master travel areas by obtaining 10 points in each travel area, or 6 points in the short version. Watch as individuals or teams are declared the Travel Buff by mastering five of the nine travel areas on the game board. Individuals or teams can attempt quesitions in simple, intermediate, and advanced categories, or instead, spend "Travel Buff travelers cheques" to take Dream Vacations and acquire points.
