The game is played on a row of 12 spaces, each marked for a different Era: The Far Future, Near Future, WWII, WWI, Age of Imperialism, Age of Revolution, Renaissance, Middle Ages, Roman Empire, Ancient Civilizations, Prehistory, and Distant Past. Each player also has a custom deck of cards.
