You take the role of an irritable cowboy, slinging insults from a deck of cards in front of you in order to be the last man standing. The game uses a starting word and a deck of second and final words distributed amongst all players. Everyone takes it in turns to say the first word, then all the words on the cards in the middle pile, then the top card from their hand (which is added to the pile) followed by the final word. If you cannot remember the entire phrase you take all the cards in the middle pile as one "hit". When you take your third "hit" you are out of the game. Hats are not required but cowboy voices are mandatory.
