The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers – Trick-Taking Game is a standalone continuation of the cooperative card-game journey. Chapters 19 through 36 follow the divided fellowship, introducing new characters, items, restrictions, and scenario goals inspired by the second novel. Each player must satisfy a character-specific objective while helping the whole table complete the chapter; limited communication makes every lead consequential, and the One Ring remains the only trump card. Two-player games add a dummy hand, while solo play controls four open hands. The earlier Fellowship game is not required, though playing in order preserves the narrative arc.
