Shape Up has a high replayability score due to its high variability gameboard, impactful expansions, deep strategic possibilities, and good scalability. While it may take some time to learn, the game offers a fresh and engaging experience each time it is played.
Shape Up has a moderate level of luck involved in the game. Random elements like dice rolls or card draws have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. However, players have substantial ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is primarily determined by player strategy and decisions, with luck playing a minor role. Overall, Shape Up strikes a good balance between luck and strategy, making it an engaging and enjoyable board game.
Card game from the Dubbel en dwars series. All cards are printed on both sides. During the game you need both sides. In Shape Up everyone plays simultaneously. You try to play a card with an angle that corresponds (also in color) with a symbol at the top card of the discard pile. When you play a card with more equal angles, you may give a card to each other player. The first player that has played all his cards wins the game immediately.
