Table feel

Relikt has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth in confrontation. Players must frequently be aware of and react to each other's strategies and turns. However, the game does not emphasize cooperation as much.

Replay value

Relikt offers a high level of variability in each playthrough with its variable setups and random elements. The presence of expansions adds new content and gameplay elements, enhancing the replay value. The game provides deep strategic possibilities and room for players to improve their tactics and strategies over time. The player interaction score is moderate, and the game scales well with different numbers of players. While it may take some time to learn, the depth it offers makes it worth the investment. Overall, Relikt has a strong replayability score of 8.15 out of 10.

Luck profile

Relikt has a moderate level of luck involved in the game. Random elements such as dice rolls or card draws have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. However, players have substantial ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is primarily determined by player strategy and decisions, with luck playing a minor role. Overall, Relikt strikes a balanced mix of luck and strategy.

Overview

from Spielbox: Relikt (Relic) by Rudiger Dorn invites you to an adventurous treasure hunt! Who hasn't dreamed of riding through the middle of the jungle on the back of an elephant? Plagued by mosquitoes, sweat beading your brow, experiencing the most dangerous adventures and, at the end, to be rewarded by gemstones of incredible value? In this card game - admittedly, with a little imagination - all this is possible. Players play as treasure hunters and, over the course of the game, try to find the most valuable treasures while giving the cursed treasures to their opponents. The player who can call the most valuable treasures his at the end of the game wins. This game is an extended version of Ex und Hopp.
