Rainbow 35 has a high replayability score due to its high variability gameboard, impactful expansions, deep strategic possibilities, and adaptability to different player counts. Although it may take some time to learn, the game offers a fresh and engaging experience each time it is played.
Rainbow 35 has a moderate influence of luck. While random elements play a significant role in the game outcome, players have substantial ability to mitigate the effects of luck through strategic decisions and planning. The game relies on a balanced mix of luck and strategy, with player decisions being the primary determinant of the outcome.
Cards numbered from 1 to 35 are lying out face up. A deck of cards numbered from 1-30 is shuffled and one card is put face up. Whoever points to the corresponding number first wins the card. Then the next card is revealed etc. Every card that has been taken by a player and shows the same color as the revealed card raises the number on the revealed card by one. I.e. If Player a already has a yellow card and a yellow 7 is revealed, players have to find the card with the 8 to claim the center card. Whoever gains 4 cards of the same color or cards with all 7 colours wins.
