Overview

Olvir is an adventure game for 2 to 4 adventurers, a game of simple rules and preparation where everyone must fight beasts and gather resources to meet the demands of the cities of Olvir and obtain powerful objects. At the same time, the adventurers are rewarded for hunting the beasts that hit the lands of Olvir. The game develops during several rounds represented by days, and in turn each day is divided into phases (morning, afternoon and evening). The adventurers have action points to exhaust and execute in their turns, these actions allow them to move, attack, collect resources, and many other things. Between phase and phase the same adventurers mobilize the beasts that roam the lands of Olvir, these movements can serve to hinder the objectives of their rivals, as well as favoring their own and changing the geography of hazards on Olvir. The game proposes a system of constant progress of the game, in a random way, where the beasts day by day become more and more dangerous in ways that are often unexpected. —description from the designer
