"Mustangs and Messerschmitts" is a Tactical level miniatures wargame game designed to be a good simulation of air to air combat; however it is also a role playing game of sorts. Each player controls a single fighter aircraft (or, sometimes, a small bomber formation). These aircraft are represented using 1/72nd scale models (or 1/700 scale models for the bomber formations). This split scale of wargaming pieces used is purely for the convenience of the gamers . . . Each pilot flies his personal aircraft as a mode, and, using the described movement stands, 'flies' the aircraft." Ground scale: 1:787, 1 inch = 20 meters or 65.6 feet. Time scale: 1 turn = 5 seconds. Each movement point = approximately 35 mph or 55 kph. For two or more players.
