"The search for fame and glory has lured many MechWarriors to the gladiatorial splendor of the Solaris VII arenas. Legends like Danai Liao-Centrella and Yulri Wolf earned their notoriety by competing and triumphing in the no-holds-barred, ’Mech™-on-’Mech duels of the planet’s combative environment. Will you become the next MechWarrior to reign at Solaris VII?" -WizKids WizKids has taken the Mech element from Mechwarrior: Age of Destruction and confined it within a small arena. Implementing hex based maps with lots of terrain and a simultaneous heat + damage system, Solaris VII is fast paced and easy to get into. The fighting is divided into four weight classes, each of which you can purchase as an action pack. The Mech's maintain cross game compatibility so you can bring in your existing collection to the Solaris game world. Note, however, that unlike the 'Age of Destruction' series, this are not presented as 'collectible' packs - they are clear plastic, so all the miniatures within each pack are visible when purchasing.
