Overview

Le Grand Voyage is a racing game about the migration of birds from Europe to Africa. Everyone plays at the same time. Play as a migratory bird and complete this perilous journey! At the end of the summer, the birds prepare for their annual migration. Millions of birds of all sizes leave Europe and fly to Africa where they will spend the winter. Accompany the birds on their birds on their journey: choose the best flight strategy to overcome the many perils that await you along the way! Each player chooses a migratory species among 8 possible ones. The players will try to be the first to their species to their destination (variable depending on the species). The players will make a series of flights with their scout counters during which they will encounter perils but try not to succumb to them. The goal is to advance as far as possible with the scouting piece but to land before it is too late to advance the species. -description from designer
