Overview

In a world in which noblemen advance only through the King's good graces, access to his majesty is everything. However, no one has been admitted to the Royal Court in over a generation. Finally, new hope has risen in the land as the King has decreed that a place on the Royal Court awaits the first nobleman to present each of his ten sons with a crown. Fortunately, the kingdom has artisans who can help in this task: a silversmith, an alchemist, a jeweler and many, many others. Unfortunately, all of the other nobles will try to deceive, outmaneuver and outwit each other to hire them. Whoever can acquire the ten crowns and present them to the King first wins! In Kronen für den König, a player's turn consists of the following actions: Reclaim any workers sent to the tavern. Use abilities of workers on the board. Send any workers who used a skilled artisan's power to the tavern. Play cards to place workers and hire artisans for the next turn.
