In Jester each player is an artist aspiring to the position of Jester. For three rounds, players use their city's cards, theater, guilds and cut, to visit these four areas of the board and perform different actions. In the city you can hire teachers that will improve the skills of candidates in seven different artistic disciplines. In the theater are made presented publications that bring money and fame. In the guilds players get useful privileges for the tournament and finally in court, use all his influence to manipulate royalty and achieve greater prestige in the King's eyes. When a player visits the same place for the third time it triggers the end of the round. The King then gives special favors to all participants. Moreover, this is the time to convert the prestige received at court resources and points of victory and each player should plan this task with caution and a lot of strategy. At the end of the third and final round, the player with the most victory points is named the new Jester and wins the game!
