Table feel

The Garlic Vampires has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth in confrontation. Players must frequently interact and react to each other's strategies and turns. However, the game does not emphasize cooperation as much.

Replay value

The Garlic Vampires has a high replayability score due to its high variability, strategic depth, and scalability. The game offers different experiences each time it is played, with multiple paths to victory and variable setups. The presence of expansions adds new content and gameplay elements, further enhancing the replay value. Players have room to improve their strategy over time, discovering new tactics and strategies. The game adapts well to different player counts without compromising its appeal or balance. While it may take some time to learn, the depth it offers makes it worth the effort. Overall, The Garlic Vampires provides a fresh and engaging experience that can be enjoyed multiple times.

Luck profile

The Garlic Vampires has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. While there is some room for players to influence or mitigate the effects of randomness through strategic decisions, luck still plays a significant role. The game has a balanced mix of luck and strategy, with the game outcome being determined by both player strategy and luck.

Overview

From the rules: "Creepy things are happening at Eerie Castle! The distinguished Count Gregorius of Eerie Castle has invited the little vampires to a big feast and is serving lush cherry tomatoes with freshly squeezed juice from blood oranges. However the garlic vampires miss their very favorite garlic dish. They are the only vampires in the whole world who like garlic more than anything else! How on earth could the Count of Eerie Castle have forgotten the garlic?! Each player is secretly assigned a vampire. On the way to the castle the vampires have to think carefully about how to move in order to avoid receiving tomatoes (=minus points) rather than their beloved garlic (=plus points). As the vampires don't know which color belongs to whom things can get quite thrilling on the way. The aim of the game is to have collected the most garlic thus having the most points."
