Table feel

Dino Duel has a high level of direct confrontation with battles and competitive actions that have immediate impact on opponents. It also offers strategic depth through resource denial and market manipulation. Players must frequently pay attention to others' strategies and turns. However, the game does not require much cooperation as players primarily compete against each other.

Replay value

Dino Duel offers a high level of variability with its gameboard, allowing for different experiences each time it is played. The presence of expansions adds to the replay value by introducing new content and gameplay elements. The game also offers deep strategic possibilities, allowing players to improve their tactics and strategies over time. The player interaction score is moderate, providing a balanced level of interaction between players. Dino Duel scales well with different numbers of players, ensuring an enjoyable experience regardless of group size. The game is relatively easy to learn, offering a good balance between accessibility and depth. Overall, Dino Duel has a strong replayability score of 7.85, making it a game that can be played and enjoyed multiple times.

Luck profile

Dino Duel has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. While some strategic decisions can influence the outcome, luck still plays a significant role. The game is a balanced mix of luck and strategy, with neither element dominating the gameplay.

Overview

Dino Duel - A game of Dinos, Dice Rolling, and Duels with Friends! Dino Duel is a light strategy game of skill (and a little luck) that will cause a ton of eruptions at the table (especially when the Volcano Extinction is played!). If you love Dinos and you love competitive games, you're sure to love Dino Duel. Players start with 5 cards and roll to see who goes first. Turns consist of 2 actions (Draw, Play, or Duel). Players take turns playing cards, dueling, and causing extinction events to "Fossilize" Dinos. Play continues until the draw pile runs out (or your friend flips the table). The player with the most fossilized Dinos at the end wins! —description from the publisher
