Boss Fighters QR

Boss Fighters QR is a cooperative campaign game that combines physical cards with an app-controlled enemy. Each player pairs one of four heroes—troll, halfling, dwarf, or elf—with a class such as warrior, mage, rogue, or druid, creating a focused action deck. During battle, players discuss a plan and queue QR-coded attacks, support effects, protection, and special actions. The companion app scans those cards, resolves the sequence, and makes the boss react immediately. Damage values alone are rarely enough: every boss has hidden tactics, resistances, triggers, and weaknesses that the team must infer from its responses. Defeating an enemy opens sealed loot boxes and adds new cards that expand the party’s decks before the next encounter. Ten bosses form the campaign, and each battle offers four difficulty levels, allowing families to learn through the opening training fight before increasing the tactical pressure. The app performs the bookkeeping and variable enemy logic, leaving the table focused on communication, deduction, and timing. Because cards and loot are not destroyed, the campaign remains reusable, though a phone or tablet with a camera and the free web app is required whenever the group plays.
