Table feel

Astroforce: The Dice Game has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth in confrontation. Players must frequently pay attention to and react to each other's strategies and turns. However, the game does not emphasize cooperation as much.

Replay value

Astroforce: The Dice Game has a high replayability score due to its strong variability, strategic depth, and adaptability to different player counts. The game offers fresh experiences each time it is played, with the potential for new tactics and strategies to be discovered. The presence of expansions adds further content and gameplay elements, enhancing the replay value. While the easiness to learn score is relatively average, it still allows for a manageable learning curve without sacrificing depth. Overall, Astroforce: The Dice Game provides a highly replayable and engaging experience for players.

Luck profile

Astroforce: The Dice Game has a moderate level of luck influence. Random elements like dice rolls play a notable but not exclusive role in determining the game outcome. However, players have substantial ability to mitigate the effects of randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game strikes a balanced mix of luck and strategy, making it suitable for players who enjoy both elements in their gameplay experience.

Overview

In Astroforce: The Dice Game you alone are responsible for the crew members aboard the A.S.V. Pioneer during its five year mission of exploration. In order to succeed you will need to complete missions and overcome the unpredictable challenges that may arise during them. If you complete the full five years of exploration you will return to Astroforce Headquarters in glory and be promoted to Admiral. But beware; as you travel ever further from Astroforce-chartered space the challenges and constraints you face will grow more and more extreme. Do you have what it takes to survive? A re-themed version of the Print and Play game Star Trek: the Dice Game. Astroforce: the Dice Game uses the same rules and mechanics that won its predecessor the 2016 Golden Geek award for Best Print and Play Boardgame. Astroforce: the Dice Game is a solo worker placement dice game. —description from the publisher
