Table feel

Moderate level of interaction with a good balance between direct and strategic confrontation. Players need to pay attention to each other's actions frequently, but there is limited emphasis on cooperation.

Replay value

Ascension: Deliverance has a high replayability score due to its variability in gameplay, strategic depth, and adaptability to different player counts. The presence of expansions adds further content and enhances the overall experience.

Luck profile

Ascension: Deliverance has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements like card draws play a notable but not exclusive role in determining the game outcome. However, players have substantial ability to mitigate the effects of randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game strikes a balanced mix of luck and strategy, with both factors contributing to the final result.

Overview

In Ascension: Deliverance, the world of dreams has become a living nightmare. With the portal between dreams and reality opened, the world has descended into madness. Only you can harness the power needed to close the portal to the Dreamscape and restore the world to order. Players now start the game with an additional card, Dreamseeker, granting them additional Insight over the course of the game. Phantasm cards are also new to Ascension, allowing players to gain their effects while they are in the center row. And, finally, Dreambind Monsters can be acquired once defeated by paying their Insight cost. Players familiar with previous Ascension sets will be happy to see the return of Transform cards. If you can pay the Transform cost of a card, it becomes an even more powerful version of itself! -description from publisher
