Winston offers a high level of variability with its gameboard, expansions, and strategic depth. It adapts well to different player counts and has a moderate learning curve. Overall, it provides a fresh and engaging experience with a strong replayability score of 8.05.
Winston has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements, such as dice rolls or card draws, have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. Players have some ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is a balanced mix of luck and strategy.
Collect the longest dachshund possible! In Winston, players compete to collect as many dogs as possible. There are six types of dogs: the fireman, the cosmonaut, etc., and the longer the dog, the more points you get. Will you wait to collect a longer dog, or will you try to collect it before another player snatches it in front of you? On your turn, you have to play 2-5 cards, adding heads and bodies. The player who collected last the longest dog gets a wooden bone, giving extra points. The player with the shortest dog receives the wooden poo, giving minus points.
