Wild Pirates

This trick-taking race game has pirate ships win tricks to move between islands and reach treasure first. Winning too many tricks can be harmful because spaces can force detours, limit movement, or send ships backward toward harbor.

Read the full game description

A children's trick-taking card game of racing pirate ships around a series of islands to reach the treasure. The card play is straightforward with four suits, called trump, and following lead suit. The number of tricks won determines how many spaces a ship moves, but certain spaces move your ship forward or backward, limit your movement, or force you to take the long way around an island; therefore, there are times when you may not want to win as many tricks as you would be able. Landing on an opponent's ship sends them back to the closest harbor. The first ship to land on the treasure wins!
