Table feel

Triumph has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth in confrontation. Players need to frequently pay attention to and react to each other's strategies. However, the game does not require much cooperation among players.

Replay value

Triumph offers a high level of variability with its gameboard, allowing for different experiences each time it is played. The presence of expansions adds to the replay value, providing new content and gameplay elements. The game also offers deep strategic possibilities and room for improvement over time. The player interaction score is average, and the game scales well with different numbers of players. While it may take some time to learn, the depth it offers makes it worth the effort. Overall, Triumph has a strong replayability score of 7.85.

Luck profile

Triumph: A Card-Arranging Strategy Game has a moderate level of luck involved. Random elements like card draws have a notable impact on the game outcome, but players have substantial ability to mitigate this randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game strikes a balanced mix of luck and strategy, with player decisions playing a significant role in determining the outcome. While luck does play a role, it is not the primary factor in determining success in this game.

Overview

A card game that challenges your strategy, memory, and puzzle-solving abilities as you race to match three rows of the same suit. Objective: Be the first player to line up 3 rows or columns of the same suit. Setting up the game: Deal 9 cards to each player face down. Players arrange their 9 cards into a 3x3 grid in front of them. Place the remaining cards face down between players to form a Draw Pile. The dealer takes the top 3 cards from the Draw Pile and places them face up to form the River. Gameplay: Each player must complete 1 of the following 5 actions on his or her turn until a player has won the game by lining 3 rows or columns of the same suit. On your turn you may: Play a Switch Card, Replace Card, Collect Card, Steal Card, or Discard any card in your area.
