Taktvoll has players laying cards to form bars of music. Starting with a Clef and then a bar type, by laying successive notes, players try to close the bar with the correct number of notes to score. The bar types have the beat in 4/4, 3/4 or 2/4 and this affects the cards that go into the bar. There are Minims, Crotchets, Semi Breves, Quavers and Semi Quavers and Pauses which act like Jokers. The game states that you don't have to understand music to play, but it is helpful.
