Table feel

Stupiduel has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth, with frequent interaction among players. However, it does not emphasize cooperation as much.

Replay value

Stupiduel has a high variability gameboard, offering different experiences each time it is played. The presence of expansions adds new content and gameplay elements, enhancing replay value. The game provides deep strategic possibilities and room for improvement over time. Player interaction is moderate. It scales well with different numbers of players without compromising its appeal or balance. The game is moderately easy to learn, providing a good balance between depth and accessibility. Overall, Stupiduel has a high replayability score of 7.9 out of 10.

Luck profile

Stupiduel has a low influence of luck. The game outcome is predominantly determined by random elements like dice rolls or card draws, with very little room for players to influence or mitigate the effects of randomness. However, players have substantial ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning, which balances the mix of luck and strategy. Overall, the game is heavily dependent on luck, with little influence from player strategy.

Overview

Stupiduel is a simple but entertaining storytelling game. Use your hand of item and modifier cards to construct a diabolical weapon (such as "1000 electrified hamsters") with which to attack a fellow player. Then you must tell a story about how you will use this implausible but fearsome weapon to destroy your opponent. The other player gets to build a defensive item in the same way (maybe a "radioactive garden gnome") and describe how it prevents or deflects the attack. The rest of the group then decides who is the winner of the battle. In 2006, an expansion was released called Stupiduel Fantasy Expansion.
