Pub Battles: Brandywine is meant to be played out. It is rugged enough to withstand spilled drinks at your favorite café or restaurant. It is fast and simple: 1 hour play time and 1 page rules. The stunning Kriegspiel style hardwood blocks on a real commander’s style canvas map looks like the real thing. Mini style movement. Bucket of Dice style combat. Formations move by random chit pull. Leaders can alter the move sequence and rally pieces before combat. Washington sets up first. The British can attack from either flank or the center, recreating the historical sense of surprise for the battle and providing great re-playability.
