Panda Spin is a climbing and shedding card game in which losing the right trick can improve your hand. Cards begin orange-side up, but cards returned after a lost trick rotate 180 degrees to reveal stronger blue values and new possibilities. The lead player sets a combination, and each rival must pass or play the same pattern at a higher rank; special card effects and the direction of play alter who controls the climb. Winning a trick removes cards from the hand, while strategic losses transform cards for later turns and can earn bamboo. A round ends when one player empties their hand, and bamboo rewards are adjusted according to how many cards remain. Across rounds, the first player to collect enough bamboo wins, turning every apparent setback into a potential setup.
