Table feel

The game ovo has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth. Players frequently need to be aware of and react to each other's strategies. However, there is less emphasis on cooperation as players primarily compete against each other.

Replay value

Ovo has a high replayability score due to its high variability gameboard, strategic depth, and scalability. The presence of expansions and moderate easiness to learn also contribute to its replay value.

Luck profile

Ovo has a moderate influence of luck. While random elements like dice rolls or card draws play a significant role in determining the game outcome, players also have substantial ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game strikes a balanced mix of luck and strategy, making it suitable for players who enjoy a combination of chance and skill.

Overview

The eggs are done! The aim of Ovo is to get all of your eggs back home after they've been flipped over in your opponent's camp. On the way to that camp, the players' symbols on each egg are visible – but on the way back those symbols are hidden so that the eggs, which can be moved by any player, are no longer identifiable. Since nothing looks more like an egg than another egg, your challenge is to keep track of your eggs as they hop, skip and jump their way home!
