Fight the evil genius, Dr. Spotnik, with your monster squad in this epic, city-destroying, strategy game! ROAR! MonstroCity is a cooperative, action, real-time game for 1 to 4 players. Players control a monster and together they form a squad sent to level the secret base of Dr. Spotnik and foil his plans to conquer the world! Each monster has unique abilities supporting its own strategy for an asymmetric game play. The game is played in a series of 5 rounds that each last 2 minutes. During the round each player rolls simultaneously 4 dice and resolves them fast, activating their monster's abilities. You keep moving through the city, destroying buildings while defending against the city's turrets and Dr. Spotnik's obstacles (tanks, helicopters, road blocks, etc). Depending on how well you perform and whether you manage to reach certain milestones, you gather Victory Stars. The goal of the game is to gather all three Victory Stars for a complete and total victory! The game supports various modes of play including Turn-Based Mode, where it becomes a more challenging puzzle game, and Competition Mode, where players can be divided into teams and compete against each other. Each game session takes 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the number of players. -description from publisher
