Replay value

kur-nu-gi offers a high level of variability with its gameboard and expansions, allowing for different experiences each time it is played. The game also provides deep strategic possibilities and adapts well to different player counts. While it may not be the easiest game to learn, it offers a rewarding and replayable experience overall.

Luck profile

Kur-nu-gi has a moderate level of luck influence. While random elements like dice rolls or card draws have a notable impact on the game outcome, players have substantial ability to mitigate the effects of luck through strategic decisions and planning. The game strikes a balanced mix of luck and strategy, with player decisions playing a significant role in determining the outcome. Overall, Kur-nu-gi relies more on player strategy and decisions rather than pure luck.

Overview

KUR-NU-GI is a worker placement game in which players travel as Souls through the darkness of the Sumerian Land of Death. In this dangerous journey, each Soul is accompanied by Shadows - guides and guards at the same time, whose aim is to make sure that Souls do not turn back from the Path of the Dead. Each player’s goal is to escape and return to the World of the Living, having scored as many Escape Points as possible. To do this, players have to wisely manage their actions and resources - the Prayers that the living say for the dead, the power of Vri-ilu, and the Graces of the Sumerian gods: ANU - god of heaven, ENLIL - ruler of the skies, NINHURSAG - goddess of the earth, ENKI - god of the depths of waters, and DUMUZID - lord of the underworld. There are various ways of ending the game early, and it is up to the players' strategy how quickly their game ends. —description from the publisher (English) KUR-NU-GI to gra typu „worker placement”, w której gracze jako Dusze podró?uj? przez mrok sumeryjskiej Krainy ?mierci.
