Overview

A simplified dungeon-crawl RPG system, Heroes & Treasure moves traditional D&D-style gaming into a game playable by kids as young as 4, while still retaining the essence of FRPGs. Heroes & Treasure is designed and intended for a parent to play with their children. Players choose their characters from the four basic character classes, Fighter, Cleric, Wizard, and Rogue. Each class has different weapons, spells, and abilities, represented by color-coded dice that simplify to-hit, armor class, damage, and criticals into one roll, easily understood at any age. The game is moderated by an adult Quest Master, who guides the adventure party through a campaign of 10 maps. This adventure gradually introduces standard RPG concepts such as spells, doors, locks, potions, stun, invisibility, traps, levers, and more. As characters progress through the dungeon levels, they grow in power and have more choices to make in how they play. Heroes & Treasure is played on a modular board made up of large tiles, and each character and enemy is represented by stand-up pieces.
