Harvest is a streamlined worker-placement game set in Furroughfield, a cheerful commonwealth of free beasts with fertile land and a competitive town centre. Each player combines an animal farmer with a farmhouse, producing a different pairing of permanent ability and round-by-round benefit. At sunrise, players draft cards that provide immediate income and determine turn order. Then wheelbarrows travel to limited action spaces around town to collect seeds, water, fertiliser, buildings, and other resources. On the personal farm board, land must be cleared before crops can be planted; careful shapes and timing let one visit prepare several later harvests. Buildings improve the efficiency of the farm and establish end-game scoring priorities, while unique farmer powers reward leaning into a particular rhythm without ignoring the shared competition. The season is short, so an attractive early action can be less valuable than the sunrise card that secures the right position next round. A dedicated solo system offers eighteen challenges against Mayor Gairy, and the wide variety of farmer–farmhouse combinations keeps the same compact rules fresh. Harvest delivers a complete farm-to-market arc in about an hour, with enough spatial planning to make every patch of cleared soil feel earned.
