Replay value

Happy Salmon offers a high level of variability with its gameboard, allowing for different experiences each time it is played. The availability of expansions adds new content and gameplay elements, enhancing replay value. While the strategic depth is not as deep as some other games, there is still room for players to improve their strategy over time. The game excels in player interaction and scalability, providing a consistent and engaging experience regardless of group size. It is relatively easy to learn, making it accessible to a wide range of players. Overall, Happy Salmon has a strong replayability score of 7.33 out of 10.

Luck profile

Happy Salmon has a moderate level of luck involved. The game outcome is not predominantly determined by random elements, but they still have a notable impact. Players have substantial ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game is a balanced mix of luck and strategy, with neither element overpowering the other.

Overview

Description from the publisher: Happy Salmon is a simple, ultra-fast, very silly card game. There are no turns. Players call out the action shown on their cards as fast as they can. When two players have a match, they celebrate by performing the action. Actions include the classic "High 5", the unifying "Pound It", the frantic "Switcheroo", and the delightful and bizarre "Happy Salmon". Each time a player celebrates a match, they quickly discard a card. The first person to get rid of all their cards wins. The "FIN-tastically" unique and cute fish pouch makes Happy Salmon perfect to take to camp, vacation or if you are just traveling upstream.
