Grimcoven is a standalone cooperative boss battler set in the ruined dark-fantasy kingdom of Crowholme. One to four hunters choose equipment and distinct development trees, build a modular battlefield for the selected Griefbound, then roll dice and assign them to movement, attacks, assistance, recovery, and character abilities. Lament fuels powerful evolutions but also corruption, making every upgrade a bargain with the same force that created the monsters. Event, minion, elite, and boss steps give each hunt a tactical rhythm, while destructible terrain and multiple difficulty levels change the puzzle. It is scenario-based rather than a mandatory campaign, so groups can choose a boss and build combination without committing to a long narrative arc.
