A skirmish miniatures game of pirate combat! The game consists of a rulebook, illustrated cards with stats for the figures, and miniature figures, sold separately. From the publisher's description of the rulebook: The rulebook, published separately in German and English, contains all the rules you need to play Freebooter's Fate as well as the complete list of all the crews. Plus a bunch of scenarios for you to play, a splendid piece of cover art by Paul Bonner, pictures of all available miniatures for the game, concept art, valuable advice, cracking background stories and even a shanty if you fancy some hearty musical accompaniment to your actions. Get the game, grab a mate, have a go. You'll love it. How could you not? It's got everything! Rapacious pirates! Grog-swilling goblins! Mysterious assassins! Steadfast Imperials! Merciless mercenaries! Parrots! A cast of knaves, villains, heroes, ladies, and wenches with guns. With a thousand peg legs. 116 pages, softcover. And of the cards: These cards are at the root of Freebooter's Fate. The pack comprises 40 fate cards with numbers and symbols, two sets of 6 hit location cards each and a set of 12 event cards. You will need this pack to play the game, but you will only need one pack for a game, regardless of the number of players and characters involved. The cards are bilingual where appropriate, so you only need this pack, regardless of which version of the rulebook you use (German or English).
