In Faiyum, advisors to Pharaoh Amenemhet III transform marshland into a productive region. Play cards to place roads, canals, farms, and settlements on the shared map, earning money and reputation even though every structure belongs to the pharaoh and may help anyone. Used cards form a personal discard stack; an administration turn lets you recover them in reverse order while buying new actions from a Power Grid-style market. That unusual action-retrieval rhythm rewards long combinations, careful timing, and knowing when to abandon an efficient engine before rivals exploit it.
