Overview

Welcome to Ephios, a technologically advanced city which has been politically divided since the High Governor abdicated. It is now your turn to take the governance of the city but you will have to gain popularity amongst its inhabitants. Use your relations with the local political figures and unite the alliances that influence public opinion. There are 2 game modes in Ephios: Classical and Campaign. In each mode you will have to be the first player to reach 70% of popularity on the popularity card. The crossroads is the place where the political figures of the city meet, it is symbolized by four face-up cards. There are two types of cards, the inhabitants and the figures, each figure belongs to an alliance. During your turn, you must choose one of the four possible actions: Recruit: Purchase a figure from the crossroads by spending your persuasion points Debate : Discard a figure from the crossroads to earn 2 persuasion points Use : Activate the effect of a figure or an inhabitant, then discard it. Unite : Discard 2 figures belonging to the same alliance from your hand to earn popularity. At the end of your turn, you must complete the crossroads. A campaign is composed of several quick games, but with card variations depending on how the round ended. Each campaign is unique and you will learn more about the history of Ephios as you will meet new figures and alliances. —description from the publisher
