Dewan is a fast tactical game about migration, territory, and timing. On a turn you either take two adjacent terrain cards from the display or spend cards matching every space along a route to establish a new camp. Because each location accepts only one camp, the map tightens quickly and waiting for a perfect hand can surrender the position you needed. Story tiles turn camp placement and collected resources into private scoring plans, while berries and fire offer additional routes to points. Ten modular territory tiles create a different geography each game, and included scenarios change the environment through floods, volcanoes, and lake villages. The rules stay lean, but the competition is direct: every new camp can complete your story, interrupt an opponent, or open the next leg of your tribe’s journey.
