Overview

DARKEST DECEMBER is a detailed new Advanced Tobruk system (ATS) game that tells the story of the Battle of the Bulge from the perspective of the American 3rd Armored Division, facing down an onrushing German 116th Panzer Division during 20-24 December, 1944. The ATS gamer is hurled into the height of the most dangerous period of the Battle of the Bulge, in pitched battles that play out over three historical maps, covering Hotton, Melines and Quatre Bras crossroads portions of the battlefield. The entire battle-site was mapped on foot by designer Pedro Ramis! Scenarios bring you into the ranks of the 23rd Armored Engineer Battalion, Kampfgruppe Bayer, Task Force Mize, CCR, and other hard-fighting combat elements. Available on April 2004.
