Read the full game description

Covenant is a one-to-four-player strategy game about rival dwarven clans bound to reclaim Karrak-sür-Kazar. The sacred mountain has been occupied for centuries, so victory requires more than sending workers to familiar spaces: the clans must excavate the board itself, clear enemies, restore buildings, and turn the newly opened halls into a productive network. A game lasts three eras. During clan turns, dwarves take tasks supported by tools and resources, advancing through the mountain to obtain ore, gems, and opportunities for construction. Placement and adjacency matter because the developing map controls where a clan can work and which rewards become accessible. Forged tools make later actions more capable, while clan boards and progress tracks create distinct engines and scoring priorities. Defeated creatures, sets of resources, buildings, and influence in the reclaimed zones all contribute to glory. Once clans have spent their available dwarves, the council phase recalls workers and distributes benefits, creating a deliberate rhythm between expansion and consolidation. The shared restoration project generates constant tactical competition: opening a valuable section helps the mountain recover but may hand an opponent the position they need. Covenant combines worker placement, action chaining, set collection, and territorial pressure in a fixed twelve-turn structure. A dedicated solo system preserves the full excavation and efficiency puzzle for one clan leader.
