Clank! Legacy 2: Acquisitions Incorporated – Darkest Magic returns to the noisy deck-building adventures of Clank! as a twelve-game legacy campaign. Players begin as employees of an Acquisitions Incorporated franchise, using skill to recruit cards, swords to defeat monsters, and boots to move through a shared dungeon. Valuable artifacts tempt everyone deeper, but cards can also add coloured cubes to the Clank area; whenever the dragon attacks, those cubes are drawn into the damage track. Darkest Magic layers an evolving map, sealed discoveries, stickers, character journals, and a Book of Secrets onto that familiar push-your-luck system. Missions can demand cooperation against bosses and campaign threats, yet individual employees still compete for treasure, advancement, and long-term advantages. Choices alter routes, unlock cards, name locations, and change rules for later sessions. New tagging and character-development systems let each participant shape a distinct deck and identity across the campaign. A free Dire Wolf companion app can narrate passages and track mission reports, but the physical book and sheets remain sufficient. After the campaign, the personalized board and card pool become a replayable custom Clank! set, preserving the group’s decisions without requiring the same story to be reset.
