Move the Messenger between the Castle and Village, then spend gold or keys to recruit one character from the matching market. Every character brings an immediate power, an end-game scoring condition, or both. Position matters: after exactly nine recruits, your 3×3 grid turns colors, professions, resources, and neighboring cards into a web of combo points.
