Luck profile

The 20th Century Time Travel Card Game has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements, such as card draws, have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. However, players have substantial ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is primarily determined by player strategy and decisions, with luck playing a minor role.

Overview

The second entry in Mike Fitzgerald's "family" card games for The History Channel, the 20th Century Time Travel Card Game uses a deck of 100 cards (1901-2000), each replete with major historical events of that year, to play a rummy-like game of collecting decades & getting rid of your hand. The time travel theme is echoed in the direction of play... if your last card played is later than the last card of the previous player, play continues clockwise. If your last card played is earlier, you move "backwards in time" and play now goes counter-clockwise.
