Wispwood is a gentle but thoughtful tile-placement game about growing a magical forest around a curious cat. Each turn, players draft one wisp tile and one available shape, then add that polyomino of tree spaces to a personal grid and place the chosen wisp within it. Every wisp type has a goal card describing where it wants to shine, while the trees follow a separate scoring preference. The cat moves through the woodland and changes how lines, groups, and connections are evaluated. At the end of each round, the forest scores, fades, and expands; previously placed wisps remain to constrain and enable the next layer of planning. New combinations of scoring cards make every grove behave differently, and a dedicated solo mode provides a full puzzle for one player. After three rounds, the brightest, most harmonious forest wins.
