The Anarchy places you among the English nobles loyal to King Stephen during the civil war against Empress Matilda. Across five rounds, roll and allocate dice to expand your domain, raise defenses, manage income, and assemble siege engines. Angevin armies threaten your castle while campaign cards create linked tactical opportunities and hard trade-offs among bravery, loyalty, influence, and might. Discontent can undo even a prosperous estate, so the strongest scorer must balance growth with survival. A twenty-chapter solo campaign adds escalating historical challenges without making irreversible changes.
