A deck of cards is split equally between the players. On each card are 4 one-syllable (French) words, one on each edge. The players must combine these short words to create two-syllable words by placing two cards next to each other. Spelling does not matter, only pronunciation is considered. Whoever finds a word first is allowed to turn over the next card of their pile. The winner is the first player to have placed all their cards.
